Davall Gears manufacture Precision Gears, Gearboxes and Geared Systems for Aerospace, Medical, Defence and Industrial Sectors.We also offer a fully supportive Gear Design service, specialising in Spiradrive® (spiroid) Gearing, providing High Power density, Zero Backlash and High Stiffness capability. Davall Stock Gears providing stock and standard catalogue power transmission products .Mollart Universal Joints who supply precision and Aerospace Quality Driveshafts, Universal Joints and Couplings.
Design
Davall has a highly qualified design team backed up by modern computer technology that can Design bespoke gearbox or geartrain solutions.
The company is able to provide a fully supportive in-house gear and gearbox design service, ranging from a feasibility study through to prototype design, build and test, pre-production, and ultimately supporting production volumes. Davall Gears are specialist in applications which may have a requirement for High Power Density, Zero Backlash, Compact Footprint or a High Torsional Stiffness.
Manufacture
Davalls long production history has provided over 1200 man years of experience in the manufacture of precision geared products.
The company has an extensive range of machinery, from the traditional to leading "state-of-the-art" equipment, and gives us the ability to produce technically complex gears and gearboxes, suitable for High Power Density. Zero Backlash capability and High Stiffness, supplied in lead times to suit customers time constraints.

Davall's increase in Electro Discharge Machining Capacity for 2013
Following on from its CNC Gear Hobber investment for Spiradrive and Hobbed Precision Gears in 2012. Further investment has now been made in its Electro Discharge Machining Capability (EDM). A state of the art Agie Charmilles AC Progress VP2 machine has now been delivered and commissioned in March 2013, with production output starting in April. This again is part of Davall's ongoing strategy for investment into world class machinery in the production of Precision Gear and Precision Spline components.
